I don't think it's abandonware yet, you might be able to pull it out of the bargain bin somewhere.

If it's not abandonware then this question is against the ToS.

To my knowledge only HoMM I is abandonware but I might well be wrong.

Only today I found that, indeed, it is not abandonware yet. I thought that such an old game would already be available for free. Anyway, I got Heroes 1 from an abandonware site. Never played it. Thank you all.
