When you install The Darkest Day into Baldurs Gate 2, what happens to the game? Is there new quests or something? Is Baldurs Gate 2 changed permanently?

Basically you get a larger map with new areas that you can do during baldurs gate 2. When bg2 is over you cant go to those areas because the game ends. As you probably know tdd has new quests, items, monsters.....etc. It does not affect the bg2 story, but does change the main map and adds new characters in bg2 areas.

is there any return to underdark or other places you can only go to onne in TDD?

What sort of New quests are there though???
