The original plan was just to make a tech demo of it, but it looks like it will be made for the Ps3 in the near future.

If you actually read into it, you will see that Sony stressed that it is only a demo and there will be NO re-make :(

I found a different link that said Sony was going to pick up on it, can't find it but I'll look for it.
