If you were a fan of the original, this will blow you away. The graphics are absolutely incredible, and the game is free. (ps. page won't load on my FireFox, try using IE instead) [ 04-09-2005, 06:38 AM: Message edited by: Dreamer128 ] |

Looks like it's still in it's Alpha. But the graphics are good enough to make me wait . ;)

Looks nice. The page does load on my Firefox.

Remake? I dusted off and played the original start to finish not two months ago. It was perfectly fine.
|
I actually tried to run XCOM 2 Terror from the Deep recently but was unsuccessful after trying DosBox and various settings. This looks like a suitable replacement.
|
There was a win95 compatable remake of the early XCOM games, which works fine under winXP, although the palette-cycling animations run far to fast.
According to the dosbox site, the original version should run fine under version 0.60 or later. http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/comp_l...D=233&letter=X But this remake looks interesting. Shame its still in alpha. |
And for the people that don't have the remake (which is available at fileplanet),There is an excellent fan-made patch that allows both the original Ufo and Terror from the Deep to run under XP.

How about on Win2k?
