You've gotta admit, playing games where The Simpsons are three dimensional makes them look just a teensy bit weird...

So, surely if Simpson games were produced in cel-shading, they would retain their natural cartoon-appearances and wouldn't look strange?

What I'm saying is, would it be possible for each frame of the game to be rendered into a 'cartoon' image to look like how they are originally drawn and shown on TV? Would the rendering cause the game serious refresh-rate problems? Would you be able to judge distances?

Just seeing how plausible this is...

remember the episode where homer turned traditional 3D? and how weird that was? fun, yes. weird, definitely. they need to remember that.
