Apparently it's scheduled for spring 2005, so not an exact releasedate, but it's not that far away either. The team from Pyros studios is behind this, the creators of the Commando's series, and they are obviously focussing on a new genre. Personally i thought their first RTS, Praetorians, was a surprisingly amusing game, but this one is looking extremely promising, even though the concept is a shameless ripoff from RTW. I'm especially looking forward to the naval battles, which will be in real time for the first time in this type of games.

i never liked praetorians.. not my kind of rts. but ill check this one out

I felt the same in the beginning. In my book you have to be able to build your own settlements in an RTS, and that wasn't the case in Praetorians. But after a while the game got to me, and i finished it three times already. :D
