I've finally ordered BG II + Throne of Bhaal from Amazon.
Question: Do I need to know anything vital before I install - like put a patch in (or don't), etc.?

Yeah, I enjoy that site very much myself. You know, I'm having alot fun with the game, then I take a trip over to Baldurdash, and I find a patch that makes the game even better and funnier!
It's really great work from the guys that have made the patches...

It has ALOT of good editors, and some very fun and good mods. ;)
