Gotta love the Dark Side. Just finished the game this weekend, and the ending was great. During most of the game, I felt like little more then a thug who was stealing the lunch money of a bunch of kids. But it gets more fun as you near the end. Especially having Zaalbar kill Mission was very amusing.
I'm curious though, when Carth runs off into the hills, is it possible to chase him? Or there is there a subplot that involves him if your character is female?

Ummmm, I don't recall there being a subplot involving Carth if you're female....of course I was playing a Light Side character, so that may have something to do with it.

Yes, there originally was going to be a subplot with that if you were female and had finished his romance. Basically, after you kill the last guy, Carth come and try to turn you back to the light side.

I think most of the dialogs were already in the game. There is a mod that add it back.

Edit: Romancing him and turning dark side is the most evil thing ever. He was already extremly on his guard, you get him to trust you and then betray him. He's going to be affected by this all his life...

This reminds me, I still have to play KOTOR again.

BTW, that planet with that shark thingie, how the heck do you do that last thing with the giant sharkfish if you're a Dark Jedi, and NOT get kicked off of the planet?

Chris of the Dale 11-01-2004 06:53 PM

You do it the other way, you don't gain any light side paints from what I remember.

i don't think there is a way to avoid being kicked off the planet if you inject the toxin into the water thus killing that huge fish. the selkath will hate you. there are plenty of other things to do that will make up for the loss off darkside points.

Gabrielles blades 11-01-2004 10:12 PM

you can force a stalemate at your trial after you poison the fish up; choose the right dialogue options.

theyll be really peeved at you, but wont kick you off the planet for good

Destroying their legends and future is way to much fun to pass. There's nothing to come back for on this planet anyway.

Riftmaker 11-02-2004 02:05 PM

Yeah there is, bounty hunter contracts.

That's why I wanted to find some way to avoid getting kicked off the planet. That and the side-quests.

:D
