If there were a confrontation between the two who shall win?
|
Assuming a confrontation ever actually occurred, Sam. But knowing Garret, the likelyhood of a confrontation is extremely limited.
|
hm...since sam is from splinter cell, i would assume he has acess to guns, sniper rifle and rocket lanuchers, so i would say that sam would kick garetts ass, but then again, garrett can hide almost perfectly in a shadow, that no one would b able to detect him

Er...Sam can hide in the shadows too and doesn't use rockets . I will just wait and see more opinions and then I'll post my own.

id say garret because he has the use of mines, explosive arrows, nock out gas....and hed be almost impossible to actually find (unless it is daylight)

Well.. Sam has hightech advantage, and I don't think Garrett can match that

one-to-one in combat: Sam fisher. The guy can knock any guard out cold with his bare hand while Garette needs a blackjack to accomplish the same thing. Plus, no medieval arrow can match with the mighty SC-20K.
Thievery skill: Both are just as good but Sam does have the advantage of having the most sophiticated tools of trade. Coolness: Sam. His dark suit is just too cool. Plus, the mask (on certain mission) make him look like a modern era ninja. Bias factor: I have manage to finish Splinter Cell 1 several times but have yet to even complete 50% of the original Thief game. As such, I tends to like Sam Fisher more. I think that Garret would win, simply because he hasn't got any lightbulbs on his suit that would disclose his position in the dark. Furthermore, Garret can duke it out with several guards, while Sam gets mostly dead in such encounters. Both characters have nightvision(Garret's Mechanical Eye and Sam's goggles) so you can't say anyone has an advantage there. true, Sam has the rifle and the pistol, but Garret's got arrows and swords and bombs that can incapacitate our poor Sam in a second. Plus, darker dudes are cooler! ;)

Garret has his mechanical eye and Sam has his googles. Not only is Fisher's goggles are nightvison they are thermal aswell. If our master thief is hiding behind a curtain or somesuch Sam simply flips down his goggles and sees him plane as day. And sure Garret has his handy dandy bow. But if both saw each other with some distance inbetween them it would take some time for Garret to take out his bow, nock an arrow, pull back the bow string, aim and shoot. While Sam simpily brings up his SC-20K and sticky shocker him or use a lethal bullet. And if they were up close well...Sam will elbow him nyah! :D And who can forget Sam's sticky cameras'? He can shoot them anywhere and the small cameara would stick to the surface. The camera can go into thermal and nightvision. Handy eh? Though I admit Garret has more finnese than Sam. The anti-hero type of character and all. [ 07-20-2004, 09:48 PM: Message edited by: Sythe ] |
