once in spellhold i hear that yoshimo turns on you and dies. is their anyway to bring him back? i presume you can use resurrection wand or spells but im not their yet so i dont know. any info appreciated

Nope Sorry If ya take him into spellhold he dont come back out [img]graemlins/crying.gif[/img] Its a real bummer cause I bet he would b useful in ToB.... But keep his HEart cause if ya take it 2 a temple of Ilmater then u get 200000 XP :D :D :D

While you are still in the town (forgot the name) try taking Yosimo out of your party. Tell him to stay there and pick him up after the spellhold quest. Don't know if this works.

Yoshimo has been a traitor all the time, and worked for Irenicus, so by the time you return to Athkatla, he'll be gone.
That's too bad, though, cause he's a really good NPC! ;) </font>

that sucks, should i take another theif then to spellhold. will their be anything i have to pickpocket, or chests to open?

Forget Yoshimo! he is just a bastard, if you have a good party take Jar with you, is the best thief in the game!

What excuse does Yoshimo give for screwing you over? I never got this out of him, because I just out and out killed him as a traitor. So what's the story? Is there any way to avoid killing him (thus far, I take it the answer is "no")?

thanks, but i have a mix of good/evil in my party. so much for jan i already killed him becuase of his stupid obsession with turnips. he just got annoying and got killed. i cant wait to execute yoshimo, and minsc is going to get it to if he doesnt shut up. yes im a little evil when it comes to this game.

Yoshimo had been affected by a geas (For non-BG1 players, geas basically makes you a slave of somebody, I think at least.)
Yoshimo did this at first, not knowing Irenicus was so evil. When Yoshimo wanted to join your side, he couldn't (else he'd die.)
