Welcome to IW! You should take this question over to the misc. games thread, you might get a better responce there. Great game btw. I loved DS1, would like to get 2 myself.

I just got the Dungeon Siege expansion that has the original game in it. Haven't played, but LadyZ and other friends tell me it's pretty good.

I love how easy the game is to mod -- it seems like it was *designed* to be modded without mercy :D

Nothing quite like lightsaber battles with killer chickens...

Yep good game, very diablo-esque, but in a good way.

Personally I think it's the best Diablo type game since Diablo 2. I got Sacred thinking it'd be the next great D2 hack/slasher but after finishing it I think the only thing it has to recommend it over DS is the size of the map... overall Dungeon Siege is a MUCH better game. I'm going to have to pick up the expansion.

Dungeon Siege is the best game that you only play once.

Until you start modding, DBear. After you write your first mod -- in my case, to make bows fire faster (though new spells are really easy too) -- you'll get addicted to that aspect of the game.

The vanilla game, however, I admit to only playing once :D

When was this game made out of curiosity? Will I still find it in game stores?
