Im kind of stuck now...i need a reputation of 2 stars, but only have one. Ive tried playing the Quick Races over and over again, but it doesnt seem to have any effect on my Rep. The funny thing is, i recall having 2 stars at some point. Is it possible to lose stars? How can I earn/regain stars?

BTW, I have a Mazda Miato with a unique vinyl of a purple rose and every possible upgrade. got a few decals too...

You get stars by modifying your car with items. Decals and insignificant stuff don't count. You sure you have every visual possible on your car?
Or race for more points to unlock new stuff.

Yup, that was it. I was missing the side skirts, so after installing those, i got the reputation star...thanks for the help! btw, do you think traffic to be extremely annoying? the cars seem to appear from the most unlikely places, and of course, to be right in front of my car! Countless times ive crashed into a car on some curve right before the finish line, thus losing...grr, makes me angry

I lost many races becuase of the stupid trucks. They came just before the last turn... destroyed my keyboard becuase of it!

btw, why is it that all the new cars arent as good as my current car? Ive gotten tons of new cars, but none of them are better than my Miato...does it like show how good the car is without the modifications? I find it hard to believe that the first car i buy is the best car...

All cars are equal, except for minor differences. Like: the skyline has a slighly higher top speed, the Eclipse has major starting speed, acura steers smoothly etc.

But overall, I think, car performance gets better with every new unlocked car.
