Hi,

I am currently trying to play Gothic II. I've never seen the intro because the screen in always dark. The sound is o.k. . After the loading screen appears ( visible ) the game works well.
Of course the intro isn't that much important but can anyone give me a hint why I cannot see it ? (Latest patch installed)

System : Windows XP
P4 2,4 Ghz
1 GByte RAM
G4 4200 Ti ( latest driver )
DirectX 8.1.

Have you trie to install DirectX 9 to se if that helps?

Check the gothic.ini file in your system dir. It has some options about that kinda stuff.
