cus im sure u ppl wud have played some and can give me some advice

I tend to buy games that are either a)really good single-player, or b)really good multi-player

Games that I've found that are worth playing at least once, if not more:

Halo
Star Wars: KOTOR
MechAssault
Morrowind: GOTY (but I'm sure most people would prefer the PC version)
Jet Set Radio Future
Medal of Honor: Frontline
Blood Omen 2
Conker: Live and Uncut (not out yet, but pretty much the same as the N64 version, which was really good)
Gauntlet Dark Legacy
Legacy of Kain: Defiance (though, I'd wait to see if a PC version is released)

other people may mention:

Soul Calibur 2
Alien vs. Predator
BG: Dark Alliance
D&D Heroes
Max Payne
Need for Speed Underground
Serious Sam
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell
Fable (winter 2003)
XIII
Prince of Persia

HALO - yes I still have this old game; it has replay value
HALO 2 - future release; better reserve it now
CRIMSON SKIES - fun yet no save option just autosaves and some other minor quips I despise
SPLASHDOWN - a water jet racing game; old yet so fun
CONFLICT DESERT STORM 1 & 2 - squad based third person, order your guys, if you can get used to the controls, this game rocks
MORROWIND - get the three pack version and make sure you stop playing once in a while and get some fresh air
TRUE CRIMES - a very good game. This game has everything: driving, kung-fu fighting, double gun shooting, slow mo. And its all done well. A classic in my list.
ENCLAVE 2 - future release? due 12-31-03?; the first one was also good
ROGUE OPS
BEYOND GOOD & EVIL
MEDAL OF HONOR FRONTLINE
DYNASTY WARRIORS 4

ETC - and there other future releases coming out - Half-Life 2, Doom 3, Fable, Starcraft Ghost, Ninja Gaidenm, Rallysport Challenge 2
