what characters are really excellent for a good aligned group.. and also what weapons and armor are good in bg1 and tosc????

Nice to finally see someone who agrees with me. Kivan and Coran are the best NPCs. And for spellcasters, try Jaheira Quayle and Dynaheir

But I have to say that I think Khalid is also excellent in battle.If you wish to have Khalid without his baggage (Jaheira),execute her where Khalid can't see.

I recon Minsc is good fighter just stay away if he goes berserk
and you must get Dynaheir from the Gnoll Mines I think other wise
he goes spaso.Kivin is also a good fighter if you ask me.

I like Kivan and Minsc. I didn't care much for Coran. He was a little lacking in the thieving skills, in my opinion. By the time I got to him Imoen was a unbelivable thief, especially with traps and locks. I also didn't need another tank.

Coran is MUCH BETTER ARCHER THEN ANYONE ELSE!
he has dex 20 and 3 stars in bow. He progress just a littel slower then a single class chars. When I picked him up, I got lucky - he was 1 hitpoint below his theorwtical maximum, while Kivan had about half his potential hitpoints http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

I'm probably gonna get jumped on here but I like Ajantis. But then I've always been fond of Paladins. Imoen is also quite good, especially if you dual her to mage at level 6. I support you all full on hte Coran thing, that guy rocks, especially with a bow. <g>
