Information on the upcoming FF has finally been released. Looks good, if somewhat familiar. (When you see the two main characters you'll know what I'm talking about [img]tongue.gif[/img] ).

Good Lord almighty!! They lost their creativity!!! Everybody run for the hills. Oh yeah, why do they always draw the guy's looking so unbelievably feminine?

Also the Hero's name has been used before, though it was by a different company and a different spelling. In the original Legend of Legaia the main character is named Vahn. Look familiar? Sound familiar? Thought so.

And the heroine? That's just sacrilidge. They crossed Yuna with Britany Spears! That's sacrilidge.

Oh well. In the end it's not really a big deal. If the story line is good, and the gameplay is well programmed and not over complicated or overly tedious. We're all good.

Currently playing through FFX again. Is XI and XII online or offline? As I know they wanted to make one of them online only.

The reason they draw them so feminine is that feminine looks are a better sign of attractivness. The androgenous state or something like that. It was the reason Leaonardo di Caprio was so popular looks-wise, he was slightly androgenous. And also the way male elves typically look, aswell as artist depending other races too. Also the reason Raiden in MGS2 looks like he does, designers knew this theory and used it.


And the name is not final, it is a literal translation. So it may change slightly in months to come.

Is it going to come out on a proper paltform, or am I once again going to have to curse the console crowd and re-play FF6 on an emulator?
