I found a box. I got rid of the box.

Journal says to find Mar. Mar is gone however... ...

Me want to "talk" to Mar. Which area can I find Mar?

No need for specific locations, just hints will do.

Remember where you found Mar? I'll assume yes since he's not where you're looking for him. Well, go north. There should be a trail of dead Lim Lim's that'll lead you to him.

Yeah, I had a real hard time finding him my first time through. Once he first gave you the box, he ran away in the direction he is hiding in (and yes, he is hiding). Look in the northwest corner of the map. Run your cursor over every little spot (this isn't like BG2 where you can hit Tab, unfortunately). It may take you a few minutes, but you will find him.
