Anyone know the game Hidden and Dangerous, it's a great WW2 game with a terrible terrible name... but the developers Talonsoft are making the sequel and in their eternal Generousity they have decided to give away the first game for free! Don't you wish other companies were this great?

Well, the more convinient download is nice. If you can call 250Mb convinient.

a quarter gig is definately convenient if its a full-version of a quality game in freeware. Also if you have DSL it should take maybe 5 minutes total to download, of course this depends on how many people swarm the site for the game.

So what type of game is this ? Is it RTS, FPS ?

From what I can see, it's a game where you control 4 people, and lead them through missions and stuff. WW2 weapons, though. The graphics I see (http://hdemporium.iwarp.com/coolpic.htm) aren't that bad. Very nice, if it's for free.

I played the demo years ago and liked it. This is truly nice.

Am trying the game. However, for the weapons taht you choose at the beginning, is it for that mission, or for the whole campaign? I used a bazooka round, only to remember that I should've stockpiled them carefully. :(
