anyone expecting this game? its coming out soon. it looks like a xcom aftermath. one thing nice about this is the real time.
here is a screen shot http://www.ufo-aftermath.com/images/aftermath76.jpg and here is the webpage http://www.ufo-aftermath.com/pages/headquarters.html |
Looks good. I am itching for similar games since X-COM: Apocalypse.

Bah... It's real-time? It better have a BG-style pause thingy then...

looks like it might be good. Some of the graphics look pretty crappy though

yeah there is pause on this one. but the portraits and graphics looks like cartoon.. ugh.. but will see.

I hope it still has the unique "learning by doing" take on character development of the first one.
I loved the way that in order to increase a trooper's aptitude in a certain skill you had to make use of it. Want your trooper to get stronger? Let them carry a lot of heavy gear. Want to increase your trooper's accuracy? Let them see some actual action. Want to increase your trooper's stamina? Be sure to have them run around a lot. I'd really like to see that take on character development transferred to an RPG. |

I too played only the first three parts. Unfortunatly after that they changed the gamestyle. Maybe with UFO-Aftermath they return to their old quality.
