Hello! I have bought my HL about 2 years a go. It was the Game Of The Year edition and includes HL,Opposing Force and CS.
So yesteday I installed HL. Then i installed CS 1.5. Downloaded it from the net. Installed CS and i wanted to play it. Then the game said that my HL(!) version is old an it will upgrade it. It tried but then the update screen said that my internet is invalid.
Huh? Can anyone help?

Who needs autoupdate when the patches are easily available? Or at least they used to be, I cant find links to the actual patches on sierras site. Damned autoupdaters, more trouble than their worth.

The patch you need (I think) is on this page - the 1.1.0.0 full client patch should cover it.

Thanks but I need to fill the places. So i have do it only my birthday is wrong. The page says it is an error.

There are on 12 months in the year. And the americans write it mm/dd/yyyy. SO you get an error.
