<FONT FACE="lucida sans" SIZE="2" COLOR="#00ff00">i just got this game a few days ago, but never get the time to play it.actually i was lookin for ToB, but there was none, so instead of buying ToB, i buyed this.i think its a good old 1999 game.when i installed it, it succeed, then i run the game.the problem occurs when i tried to load the game after customizing the nameless one.it just hangs and shuts the game bringing the screen to the desktop.it is said that there is a failure with the WED (or something)file.any help would be appreciated.thx.</FONT>

WED files. I hate wed files. Try reinstalling, probably one of the .bif is corrupt. Clean the CD and your CDROM drive before you do it, corruption from a new disc is rare.

In the tileset index, which I can just about handle. Also the polygons, which I can just about handle. Also the wallgroups, which are nothing to do with doors and are driving me nuts and severly impeding progress.

And to address the original poster, I would clean the CDROM drive. A lens cleaner is only about a fiver.
If all else fails, PM me the name of the wed file in question and I'll email it back. WEDs may be evil, but at least they are small. |
