Sorcerers are good. Especially in BG2!

yeah.the only drawback for the sorceress in diablo2 is her lack of spells.not too many to choose.but in bg 2, the spell in spell list to choose r numerous.but i actually like real time(diablo2) better than semi-real time (bg2).

My favourite is Bowmazon. I like the strafe and guided arrow skill. With bowmazon I can shoot monsters from far away. thus avoiding those MSLE monsters. Bomazon is the only character that I got that beaten all difficulty in single player game. and guess what, I've found a windforce on a single player game. imagine that.

say, anybody play on USeast?

yeah! i like the amazon too.shes my second favorite one.and the same like u too, shes the only one that i played through all difficulty levels.last time i played her, she was level 61.and shes a major in strafe :D .

No question, the Bowazon for me (Paladin a distant second). I used to be a fan of strafe, then I tried multi-shot and I don't bother with strafe anymore. Of course, you have to put some points into multishot to make it worthwhile. But you can keep pumping out the arrows while the mana lasts; this isn't a lockdown like strafe is, so you can shoot and run if you have to. Or just keep shooting.

Interesting, so how do you compensate the multishot at level 20 which require 21 mana ( what item do you use )? and it doesn't add to the damage as well.

I really like my sorceress, too bad she is gimped...

My 2nd favorite class would be the Barbarian.

Never said I took multishot to the maximum. 15 is a good place to stop. In fact, I mostly only go through normal mode and then start a new character. The same old stuff, just harder to kill, has few attractions for me. I did it a two or three times and haven't bothered since.

I'm also playing the original v1.0, unpatched. I don't care for nerfing.

yes, i know that strafe locks u down, and consumes big mana.but it improves damage each level, and if u combine it with the piercing mastery and some ring(or anything) of mana stealing, it'll be a master piece spell (i maxed the spell).with a mana stealing item combined with big damage from the strafe, u wont be worry-ing your mana. and another thing is that strafe shoots at yer target automatically.if u r worry about the locking thing, watch yer distance from the enemy.dont get to close.just to be sure that my amazon doesn't get killed if shes locked and many creatures r surrounding her, i also put some skills in multiple arrows (only about lvl 13).
