I'll just right my question "Ctrl+A"-style, since it contains some small spoilers:

But now, when i go to Sir sarles, with the fake-illithium, he ALLWAYS sees that its not what he wants. Does this mean i cant finish the quest anymore ? Isnt there another way ?</font>

If you choose to give him the alloy he willalways see through the deception.However you can gothen to the temple where the alloy will be taken and you will complete the quest altough your exp gains will be lower thatìn normal.You do get to keep the illithium for the mace though!

You can give the real stuff, but I believe when you return to the temple with the fake materials, they'll not care about Sir Sarles quest.

I tried just giving the temple the materials ... didnt work though ..
The guy just says to Recruit Sir Sarles ..

there's only one batch of Illithium in the game. Sorry, you takes your choice on what to do with it. I personally want the +2 mace of disruption since there's more than enough xp in the game [img]smile.gif[/img]
