Just to contrast with the favourite villain thread, what's your favourite RPG hero.
Mine would have to be The Nameless One. You are a scarred, amnesiac, corpse with no idea why. How cool is that?

I have to agree. Besides that PST had some of the most original NPC's ever to be created.

Depends on if you play him good or evil. I would hardly call him a hero if you spend your time snapping peoples necks or poisoning their drinks. However, I do like him as a protagonist.

Actually, I like Morte as a hero as well. He's very flawed and a boorish personality, but he still tries to do the right thing.

In BG2, Minsc gets my vote along with Keldorn. Minsc is just very entertaining, while Keldorn is the wise father figure of the group.

For those that have wandered in "Discworld", Luggage and the Librarian both get my vote. I would have voted DEATH, but i am not sure he is a hero in the typical sense of the word.

And which hero listing would be complete without a mention of a particular Drow Ranger!!!!!

It think there are just to many to name..... (even more if you include those anti-hero type.
