From surfing other wizardry 1-7 message boards, I have noticed that on modern computers with the ultimate wizardry archives, the random stat rolls for wiz1 are very poor. Upon leveling up I usually only get 1 hp and I usually never gain stats but always lose them. Is this common for others as well? Some have said that it is a problem with the number generators in win2k and winxp which I play on. I tried the dosbox emulator, but it seemed to have the same "randomness" of it's numbers. Any other inputs guys?
