Much as I regret it, I want to suggest you avoid what used to be a good reference site for MM games. Specifically, Cool Jerk's site seems to have been the source of some malware that installed itself on my machine and took me the better part of an hour to remove. See my rant on the GD board for details, but for now, I'd stay away, much to my regret.

Note that I don't think this reflects on Cool Jerk specifically, but rather on the company that's hosting his pages. I believe the nasty stuff came from some advertising on their side, and I'm not interested in investigating it any further (and spending another hour removing that !#^%*#%$#%...)

My experiences with Cool Jerk on the 3do boards and in other activities have not been an issue at all. I simply mention this as a friendly warning.

cool jerk? I know him. if those things happen then it's not his fault. must be something else.

Like I said, I've known Cool Jerk through the 3do boards for a few years. I do not believe that he's doing anything specifically; however, it was after accessing his site that the malware came on board. His site is hosted by a freeware webhost, and that's who I believe the real culprit is.

I have tremendous respect for Cool Jerk and do not believe that he would actively do this. Nor do I hold him responsible, even in my twisted mind.

btw, I consider cool jerk master in might and magic series. the same as ribannah or elara. ;)
