ok now i have a guy no one can beat without cheats. he is drizzt's friend a wizard who goes looking for drizzt's stuff if u kill him. he steals the items back from u. u cant do anyhting about it either. i through the items on the ground and picked them up after he left. he came back and gave me another warning and i picked them up after he left again. he came back a 3rd time and he casts imprisonment on your whole party. ok i survived this after a couple of tries then i picked up the items and ran into a building , he came after me again and i fought him there doing an average of 25 dmg a sec( whole party was attacking at once including a gated in demon) this guy just wont die. i used all of edwin's death spells dissinigrate( beacause death spell and finger of death require the person to be lower than a certain hit dice) i also cast greater malison before i cast these. he saved vs 6 disinigrate spells at -4. however i did stop him from trying to get the items. he just follows me everywhere. i think this is because the game makers didnt make anymore dialogue modes for him thinking people would get cought by the inprisonment spells. well if anyone else has encountered this guy post some things that u guys did. or if u just gave up and gave him drizzt's items.

I think he's one of those invincible characters in the game that are used to keep the game balanced a bit, you're not supposed to run around with Drizzt's stuff. Therefore he's also not meant to fight in combat thus the invincibility... Some sort of Biff the Understudy-like mechanism to keep your character from getting too powerful I think. ;)

yeh that's what i thought. but drizzt's stuff isnt that powerful. the only thing i kept was his frostband and his friends war hammer( which i replaced for that godly one). i have better chain than his character and i coulodnt use the defender with any of my guys because they are evil hence killing drizzt. o well... i think they need the stuff back if he appears in the tob(which i haven't played). thnx for the post.

yeah not to be taken lightly cause he's umbeatable. he just follows me like a monkey now. but doesnt talk to me. kinda funny. im just waiting for him to suddently start casting imprisonments out of nowhere.

i dont think you WANT to cross the Harpell's, regardless of how evil you are. they just may turn you into a frog/horse!!! imagine the possibilities!!!
