I tried hosting a multiplayer game and my friend was successfull in joining but he was booted immeadiatly getting the message that the program version #s were different server an clent #s didnt match any help would be apprecitated

Try applying the newest patch to both of the computers (yours and your friends) and try again. Its probly the fact that one of you 2 applied a patch and the other didnt [img]smile.gif[/img]
