i know that the diamond and bj****** gem is used for making a horn stronger but what about all the other gems. are they just for sell. like the king's tear and rogue stone. i never seen any use for gems until that flute guy said he could upgrade my horn.

Well you can use a rogue stone to get into a cult were you fight some VERY powerful monsters, but the Staff of the Magi is worth it
Some gems like kings tears, diamonds, lareals tears can all be used to upgrade things in ToB [img]smile.gif[/img]

that's something new where do u find this cult i've beatenb the game with several characters and i dont remember having the chance to join a cult. thnx

You dont join any cult, you just fight them. And they are very powerful, their leader is maybe the toughest Lich in the game.
But anyway, if you still wanna go, go to the Bridge District, and to the entrance to the Elemental Lich.
Next to that door, you'll find another door, which is warded by many powerful spells, and can only be opened if you have a Rogue Stone.
And behind that door, you'll find the cult, called the Twisted Rune.</font>

hey thnx sir exxon. yeah i killed the demi-lich already he was pretty tough. i also seen that door but i never knew how to enter. thnx again.

If you have Throne of Bhaal, the rule book gives a list of various items (including a few gems) that you should hang onto because they can be used by Caspener to upgrade items.

Doesn't say what upgrades what though. [img]smile.gif[/img]
