I'm still early in the game so any advice is welcome. I heard from a friend that fighting in the Arena is one of the best sources of money. I need it badly for new spells, etc. (like everyone else, I imagine.) I did win 400 or so on betting at the Arena and didn't reach a limit. I left and explored some because I thought there must be a catch. Some thief waiting around the corner, somewhere nearby, his steely eyes piercing the shadows, his grooly grimace quivering in anticipation...

1) Is there a limit to Arena money (betting and/or fighting)?

2) Do you get attacked more if carrying alot of money?

3) Other sources of mucho income than lame quests?

Get attacked more? No.
Best money maker? Become Archmage, kill a Vampire, join a vampire-killing society, exploit the most beautiful chest.

You mean I can fight on arena in Morrowind or in Oblivion???

I'm lvl 38 and in arena i earn 4000+ gold (i'm fighting with 3 minotaur lords). There is no limit in receiving money. U earn money depending your level and the show (more damage you receive, etc. = more gold). There is an oponent limit which it is minotaur lord.
