Can anyone recommend any websites that you can get decent mods for free, or possibly even, less official versions of those on the website, for those of us with blank bamk statements...

For Oblivion. Morrowind mods are easy enough to get, but all the custom/pirate ones I've found so far for Oblivion have been bug-laden. like the levitation one, I got it because I miss the spell, but it sucks.

Pretty much every oblivion mods can be found here.

just remember, there's a reason there's no levitation spell in oblivion. lack of "z" axis. any mod you get for levitation will be buggy because of that. besides, levitation was creepy anyway. you'd think if you levitated you'd fly, not power-walk in the air.
consider the use of fast travel instead.

PS: i don't think it's a good idea to talk about methods of acquiring pirated mods here, either.

It wasn't the programing behind it that I liked. Although it was pretty pathetic, it was the ability to get to places you couldn't normaly. Even if it was ultimately pointless, it gave a greater feel of freedom, which is even more necessary in this game. Like in that cave right next to where you come out of the sewers at the beginning (just South, I forget the name). With the ruins and more caves inside... I really want to see the upper level of that cave, and there's no way to get there, unless I get loads of feather and acrobatics anyway. And there are other places where enemies are on ledges without any access, what's up there? AsIdE from unclaimed items, I bet they put a chest up there just to spite me, who knows what could be in it. Damn it! Why can't I fly...? [img]graemlins/crying.gif[/img]

For those who want to try it, the "better Topless" mod by Eshme seems to work fine but my other half would like to see it apply to the males as well. Strictly for reasons of fairness, of course...

The BTmod (not related to mod above) is great and highly recommended. It lets you see much more in your inventory, magic lists, etc. by slightly reducing font size. Less time scrolling. - Zigg -

For those special moments, the no clipping mode can be accessed in the console by typing tcl. So it's cheating. You'll get over it. [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img]
