Anyone done this quest ? I'm kinda out of clues and am tired of searching the place. I've interogated all possible suspects, and so far all i found was some painters equipment in a locked box in that Redguard woman's bedroom. Can anyone help me on my way here as where to look next ? Or spoil the entire quest for me by telling me where the missing painting is ? I'm fed up with running around searching all the bedrooms and guardtowers, so let's hear it. :D

well, i don't know how spoilerish you want us to get, johnny.
you got the first clue, a paintbrush in chanel's room.
but there's a not-so-good painting on an easel in one of the towers.... looked like a clue to me. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
and the last clue is some fresh paint on the carpet.

with that you should be able to make your accusation.

I'm having trouble with this as well... I found the painting stuff in Chanel's room and the unusual painting, however, I can't find the fresh paint on the carpet? Where exactly is it? I thought it must be the palette on the carpet near the unusual painting but I pick that up and nothing doing.

'kay, now lemme see if i remember. *thinks back*... i'm not sure if the order of doing this matters or not. :(

first, i talked to all three people. i didn't bribe anyone, just tried to get them to like me somewhat and then chatted them up.
second, i found the painting in the tower.
third, i found the paint/footprints on the carpet in the dining hall area. iirc, i clicked on them.
fourth, i saw the paint box in chanel's room.
that's when i went to talk to her but she still didn't really like me, so i played the "wheel of fortune" managing to get her to open up to me. that was when i got more topics to talk to her about and could accuse her of the crime.

i really hope i'm remembering it right.
