Well being the fool I was, I thought that if I pre-ordered the game, it would come relatively close to the release date (one or two days later). That way it wouldn't be as much of a hassle, and I wouldn't fight for collectors editions in all the local game shops.

BIG Mistake!!!!!! It seems that there was a massive shipping screw up and it will take longer for the game to deliver. Its expected to arrive monday or tuesday, but I wonder if that will be accurate.

I think the whole pre-ordering sensation has been ruined for me [img]tongue.gif[/img]
Well at least now I can devote some time to creating our new comp seeing as this one is getting old. But I was really hoping to sink my teeth into Oblivion for the weekend.

Pick it up in walmart and cancel, that's what many have done and walmarts already have it.

While that is probably the best course action to take, I am going down with the ship. Might as well, I've already bore through this far why stop now? It's a foolish choice, but I'm gonna stick with it.

EBgames are usually my first choice for pre-orders. I know you were waiting on this one for a long time so I feel for ya. Me, I didn't even pre-order Oblivion, just picked it up in walmart few days after release.

Same here I ordered it from Amazon a month ago and it is listed as arriving the 27th to the 29th.

I wish I had just driven the 30 miles to CompUSA and picked it up.
