Does anyone remember what sort of loot Brenan Risling had? He's that loser in the inn in the Promenade hanging out with Mencar Pebblecrusher who backstabs you for 56 damage, and then runs away when you are about to kill him. My party of 3 didn't have the firepower to take him down before he left, and I was wondering what sort of goodies I'm missing out on.

IIRC off the top of my head, he has a Shortsword +1, Studded Leather +1, some Potions of Invisiblilty and/or Haste, a Ring of Invisibility and some gold. Only thing that's really worth it is the Ring of Invisibility.
What I always do is try to Hold him at the start of that fight, so that he can't run away.

He always runs away when he's near death, but if you surround him while he's still neutral, he has nowhere to run and dies, dropping his loot.

IIRC he has a ring of invisibility, a shory sword+1 and studded leather+1

Thanks to all for the ultra quick response. I decided it was worthwhile to go back to the save archives and get the ring. I pretty much had to use my entire arsenal of spells (cloudkill, fireballs, webs) from a vantage where they couldn't see me, but ultimately what got'em was the confusion....they beat themselves up a bit, and then a nice little stinking cloud made them pass out. From there it was easy. Thanks!
