Hey everyone, I've been playing morrowind off and on for years now, and there is something that has been bothering me. I played Daggerfall for years first, and in that game there were numerous secret doors and teleporting objects (such as clicking on a skull and being sent to a new location), yet in Morrowind I can't seem to find any. Have I been wasting my time all these years randomly clicking on walls and objects, or are there secret passages in Morrowind that I can't find? The only one I know about was placed by a mod, so it doesn't really count. I'm just curious, and would like to know if I have been wasting my time. It was one part of Daggerfall that I really liked.

If you have water breathing potion/spell or levitation potion/spell you can find some passages. Don't bother with clicking walls or object, secret doors are concealed very poorly in this game.
|
And getting to some of those underwater doors can be quite challenging!

Truth be told, the only "teleport" item I can recall is the necklace used to get that funky lookin' sword.

There are, of course, the Propylon Chamber Indexes...not quite the same as you mention, true, but they are hard to come by teleporting objects...
|
IIRC those Propylon Chamber Indexes are only included in the official mod.

People who don't download the Bethesda Mods confuse me.

The propylon chamber indexes are included morrowind w/out the official mod. The master index, and instructions on where to find the normal indexes are both part of the mod however, so tracking them down can be a real pain. |
