To the Tribunal experts,
I'm not enjoying this expansion very much, despite some of the obvious improvements to level design (the sewers are less generic than usual) the general addictiveness of the gameplay keeps me soldiering on however. Being asked to simply ignore the suspcious treatment by 'H' at the hands of the Dark Brotherhood I found to be rather comical and silly. Made my decision to work almost exclusively for the Temple very easy indeed. But to the topic at hand - I'm on the quest to unite the blade Trueflame and are momentarily stuck as to how to make the plot proceed. I've got two parts so far (one from Karrod) and think that the remaining piece will be gained from the Mueseum - if the tight buggers will actually ever get to donating it to me! My big question therefore is, 1. How many special items/artifacts does this greedy Mueseum require before they will hand over the dwemer artifact to me? I've handed over the following so far: Dagger of Symmachus Mace of Slurring Warlock's Ring Robe of the Lich Lord's Mail All I have left to give is the Staff of Magnus, and they're most definitely not getting that! I tried saving and selling it also but it still wasn't enough. I notice too that many of the items listed in their Tamriel artifacts book don't actually register as being possible to sell, which is potentially misleading. I have the Ring of the Khajiit, Ring of Mentors and the Ring of Surroundings for example and they don't appear in the dialogue tree as possible subjects to sell! But perhaps this more of a question of timing/plot triggering? Either way, its irritating, as I am in a slight rush to get into Bloodmoon but wish to finish Tribunal first, logically. Some thoughts? Thanks in advance. |
Donate the artifact to them. Do not sell to them. Upon a certain number of artifacts donated she'll give you a piece of trueflame.
If you happen to hate to part with the artifact, just steal it back after you donate them. |
Bah, thanks Kakero. :D
I discovered I was guilty of being rather greedy myself by selling instead of donating the items. Luckily I had an autosave from just before I fought Kerrod, so I just repeeated a couple of encounters and donated the Dagger of Symmachus and the Mace of Slurring for the desired object. So yes, only having to donate two pieces isn't that much after all! Still, it remains a mystery as to why certain objects listed in the book aren't accepted. |
so you have the first two pieces Next, speak with
"Torasa Aram" in the Museum of Artifacts in the Godsreach district. Though she says she doesn't have the third piece though she does have a shield from the same period which can be part with if you make some artifact donations to the museum. You will have to donate two artifacts to the museum and you can read the book lying the on the bench on the South wall of the museum entrance to see which ones you can donate. Item Name......................Item ID for consol cheat code </font>
or sold most of these back on the island of Vvardenfell or, if you do have any of them, you are most likely using them. With any two donations you can receive the Dwemer Battle Shield (regular item). Torasa mentions that the spike on the front of the shield is loose but that most smiths would be able to repair it. The spike is part three of the Trueflame sword. Note that when you donate or sell an item to the museum it goes on display and appears on one of those pedestals. A master thief will have no problems reacquiring artifacts once they are sold or donated (hehe), though you cannot redonate or sell an item back to her. If you've sold all the artifacts already, see the cheat code section above. [ 04-12-2005, 10:52 PM: Message edited by: TheCrimsomBlade ] |
Whey!
Extreme effort there, thanks CrimsomBlade I've not needed to resort to cheat codes yet, but again, cheers for the information. Someone might be able to help with my latest odd dilemma also! SPOILERS (from my next evening effort) - - - I've since assembled Trueflame and have stormed the only moderately interesting Clockwork City to its very pinnacle where I've met the silly plot twister and killed A. The question is - my journal updates, but I remain in the city! How does one leave this abominable place of cogs and cranks?? :D I hope I havent' stumbled upon a show stopper...or perhaps there was something I didn't do, or have just missed. All very plausible since I'm playing this half asleep! :D [ 04-13-2005, 08:15 AM: Message edited by: CerebroDragon ] |
Click the body of A and get the ring. Put on the ring and it will transport you out of there.

Man, you're too fast Kakero. :D
Cheers! Glad it wasn't anything too evil like a forgotten item, etc. Back in I go! |
