My character is a female Khajiit Fighter/Thief. ^.^;; I think she is only Lvl. 11 or so.
Anyway, my friends have told me that Khajiit are pretty hard to balance out. You know. . .crummy spellcasters. Am I scrued or, like. . .Is there gear that is good for a Khajiit. ((I am currently equipped with Chrysomere and glass armor. It works for most enemies but the tougher ones can still own me)) |
Improve your skills then. No matter what race you are in the end after your skills reach 100 you'll be a god.
Glass armour is the best non enchanted light armour in the game. or , just put the difficulty slider down to -100. ;) |
The Khajiit are more likely to become fast runners and high jumpers. As far as spell casters they pretty much suck. If your looking for a Spellcaster go with the High Elf would be my first choice and my second choice would be the Brenton.
it will take a Khajiit about level 30 to get to the skill Bonuse levels these two start with -------------------------------------------------------------- Below I have listed the starting Skill Bonuses for the two basic mage classes. Remember any class can become a mage but these two classes get a big head start in the game as Mages' ---------High Elf-------- Alchemy----------------10 Alteration--------------5 Conjuration-------------5 Destruction------------10 Enchant----------------10 Illusion---------------10 __________________________________________________ ____________ ---------Brenton--------- Alchemy-----------------5 Alteration--------------5 Conjuration------------10 Illusion----------------5 Mysticism--------------10 Restoration------------10 __________________________________________________ ____________ If I were you and I was only at level 11 and, I wanted a character that would become a powerful Mage at a lower level. I would start over with one of the two Classes listed above. My wife is a cat lover and she started playing morrowind with Khajiit but at level 13 she started over and played all the way threw with a Female Brenton and finished the game at level 63 and was glad she made the change. The Brenton made a real good Battle Mage. Me I picked The Redguard and have him up to 100 in every Skill but, I started playing with the same character on may 02 2002, the first day the game was released and my red guard is the most powerful Battle Mage Thief Fighter in morrowind |
I am a cat lover too. . .
But the thing is I don't necessarily need a Mage, just a character that can hold her own. She is a very stable Fighter/Thief for her level but I think some artifacts could help her round out her abilities a bit. . . I am guessing "Enchant" is a good spell skill to take? What items are best for that? |
When you enchant you kill something and it goes in a gem, the skill raises the possibility of a the soul (the thing u killed) making the item more powerful, the best items are grand soul gems and Azura's star, a relic gotten by doing daedric quests.
|
Azura's Star? I don't quite remember coming across that. Do you mean the Moon and Star? Because that's not a very good item. Pretty useless really.
|
Nah, I know what he means. You get it for killing a Daedra and not talking to someone. Erm. . .I think I am on that Quest. . .that a skillion others. >.0 Blade Quests are the ones I need to do to finish the game roit?
|
Blade quests are the main quest ones, yes

Learn Enchanting by finding a trainer and train over and over until you run out of gold or wear out the trainer and they can teach you no more.
then read the hand book on how to use soul gems and how to capture a soul. Next go on the quest to find Azures Star. (SEE BELOW) S-P-O-I-L-E-R to find Azura's Star > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > First Travel to Azura's Shrine located in the South East corner of Vardenfell just a little north east of Tel Branara. It's hard to miss as the Entrance is by a very Large Statue of Azura. Enter and click on the Statue inside to talk to Azura to find out that she is a Priestess apprentice living in seclusion in the Sheograth region and that Sheogorath has sent some daeadra to disturb the priestice. Azura might might tell you that the island is north of Dagon Fel, when it is really northwest of it. There are 4 islands on the northern most border of the map the second from right to left holds both the priestess and the Daedra. You will find the island occupied by a number of various Daedra including Ogrim,Atronach, a Golden Saint and Hungers. Kill all the Daedra that you want but, you really only need to kill the Golden Saint named Staada near the priestess hut (but DON'T disturb the Priestess). After you kill Staada the Golden saint check the body and get tne Signet Ring as proof that Sheogorath has been meddling with and has tried to disturb the Priestess. Take the ring and travel back to the south and return to the shrine of Azura to receive your reward,The Azuras Star, the Reasuable Soul gem. Like every soul gem it needs to hold a soul in order to be able to enchant a weapon or armor but it is empty when you get it so you will need to learn how to use soul gems. It"s Got a Value of 2,000,000 gold (2 million) so, save it for the expansions if for nothing else. |
