Well, i just started over in Morrowind and decided, for the first time, to be a pure mage. Now, to obtain a great amount of magicka, i chose the astronach as my sign, yes i knew about the whole stunted magicka thing. now, someone told me that you could somewhere buy a spell that restores magicka but i find that silly. is this true? is there actually such a spell? Or are there any constant effect restore magicka items? or, how do you make a potion to restore it?

There is no spell in the game specifically to resotre magicka. However, if you drain your intelligence down to 0, when it comes back your magicka will be full again (I would call this cheating, but not everyone agrees), something like a drain 100 intelligence on self for 1 second would be ideal.

As far as I am aware there are no items with a restore magicka effect.

For a potion, try mixing two of the following:
Comberry
Daedra's Heart
Frost Salts
Void Salts

Comberries are easy to find, the other three are more difficult.

there's also fortify magicka. forget where exactly but try sadrith mora imperial shrine and balmora temple. there's some tricks you can do with this spell but i see you want to play this game pure?

kind of a lame-o-matic trick, but you could create a potion that raises your intelligence very high. if you raised you intelligence over 2000, for example, you'd have a buttload of magicka. another idea is to get a ring enchanted that has a constant effect of restoring your magicka.

If I remember vividly there's one item that have the constant restore magicka enchantment. However, I can't seem to remember whether this item come from Tribunal or Bloodmoon or from mods that I have.

CONSTANT? Really. Nah, maybe just wishful thinking. I don't think there is any. I have the PC version as well as Xbox. And I've looked in the toolset. Nothing there. However, if you do recall, please post.

There is a trick. Drain Magicka so much pts on self. It drains the points but gives it back, somehow it semt to work... Can someone try this?

i think some other have mentioned drain INT for 2 seconds and it too comes right back. yeah that drain spell works well also for training at 1gp.
