I have looked all over for a good one handed weapon. Will I have to enchant one myslef or is there on out there?

well tell us if you need a one handed: axe, blunt weapon, shortsword, longsword, marksmaship(throwing weapons basically). if you want a good shortsword go to the armoror person at the balmora fighter's guild. he has a dwemer jinksword, a netchblade, some spider daggers etc. if you want a real kickbutt shortsword, play the main mission and you will eventually get the sword keening. its awsome but there are two problems. it requires you to wear wraithguard, a heavy armour gauntlet, and it isn't as powerful in attack as a daedric wakizashi. also, the hammer sunder is really nice and only requires one hand, but it too needs wraithguard. if you dont wear the gauntlet, they will kill you in a matter of seconds.

Yeah which weapon do you have in mind? if blunt weapon ( or is it hammer? ). Go to a six house shrine and take the hammer near the sets of bell. You can use it to bang at their heads.

Gostgate or Molag Mar have a nice assortment of glass weapon. Certain dungeon got nice daedric weapon. Go to any daedric shrine and take away the offering and you can kill the daedric lord that spawn. They usually give good daedric weapon.

just thought id mention, sunder deals more damage that the sixth house bell hammer, and a hammer is classified under blunt weapon, just like staffs and clubs.

Sunder is considered an Artifact while the six bell hammer is considered a normal weapon. That's a big difference. It's like comparing GoldBrand to a iron longsword.

i keep hearing about Goldbrand and Bluebrand, where and what are these swords?!

Goldbrand is a scripted reward for completing the Quest of Boethiah. To begin your quest, swim to the Sunken Shrine of Boethiah and speak with Boethiah's head. The shrine is marked on your paper map as an "X" north west of Hla Oad. Even so, it is sometimes difficult to find, so I've made a map showing its relation to the nearby Daedric ruins of Ashurnibibi.. Boethiah will tell you to seek out a Sculptor. The Sculptor is an orc by the name of Duma gro-Lag and he lives on the third floor of Ghorak Manor, Caldera. Duma will require 2000gp as well as a "statue book." This book is called "Boethiah's Glory" and can be purchased from Jobasha's Rare Books in the Lower Waistworks of the Vivec Foreign Quarter. Once you have given Duma these things, he will begin building the new shrine at Khartag Point. I do not know exactly how long you must wait, but he was definately done in 1 month of game time. Journey to Khartag Point (northwest of Gnaar Mok) and speak with the restored statue of Boethiah to receive Goldbrand

spank-you helpy helperson

armageddon272 10-24-2004 12:30 PM

did all that and the sword wasn't even worth it. i could have self enchanted a daedric dai-katana to do more damage magically, not to mention the dai-kattana deals more damage normally. at least i can sell it and make an extra 150000
