I have been told that it is possible to buy slaves in Morrowind who can carry items for you. Like many characters in the game I suffer from over incumberance so a slave would be useful. Could anyone tell me where to find one if you can get them and is it worth getting one?

I think it's not possible, unless you have a mod installed. And even then it's a pack guar IIRC.

you can also purchase the services of a mercinary in mournhold, but he can equip some of the things you put on him... so be prepared to lose some loot.

I have Morrowind for the X-Box and was told of a place you could buy a slave form somewhere in the southern islands but I can`t remember the name. Any ideas of the location? Thanks.

Not sure, but the only purpose I've ever found in buying slaves is to set them free or have them follow you around. Unless there is something special in the Xbox version.

Maybe the guy I know was talking crap but he seemed sure you could purchase a slave who could carry items for you.

Probably he didn't mean "slave" in the closest sense of the word? Some people have been talking about scribs you could use for that matter, try searching the forum for that ... and let us know of the results [img]smile.gif[/img]

No I heard about the slave thing from someone outwith the forum. So no knowledge about buying a slave in Morrowind then. Thanks all the same.

you can purchase slaves all over morrowind... problem is, the slaves you can purchase can only follow you and help in fights by using their fists (worthless, and get in the way/die) or you can set them free.

but yes, simply put, you can purchase slaves.

curses. i start learning heaps of cool stuff and getting cool mods and then my computer kuills itself. i must remember this!

i hope that wasnt spam. anyways, i saw a slave dealer in the telvani capital. i dont know how to buy them. care to elaborate?
