Hi there!

Now my intelligence is 95, and I can't raise it more than 1 point every level, no matter how much I train intelligence-related skills. Is this supposed to be like this?

I'm asking because I found 2 or 3 threads here which mention this issue, but it's not really resolved, so I'd like to know. Is it possible that this is related to the fact that for this level I just used trainers, as someone suggested? If not, can I raise the attribute by one point no matter what skills I trained, or is it possible that I can't raise it by any point because I didn't raise any skills?

Thanks for an answer Cheers

My character has over 95 strength and endurance (without special equipment), and he got the normal X2 or X3. I'd guess it was the trainers. I've only used trainers once or twice.

Beyond a certin point you can't get 5x mulipliers if they take you up to 100, they switch over to 1x. So stop training so much and you should get smaller multipliers.

Yeah, any multiplyer that would break 100 defaults to 1x-- in other words, no multiplyer at all...

The behavior of your stat at and above 95 is a bit chaotical. My experience: At 95, you get "1x" no matter how much you have trained. Above 95, you can get higher multiplier, which can even get you over 100. You can, that means, you need not. The behavior does not depend on the amount of training at trainers.
At any rate, you can reach 100 in all stats in the end. A good idea is to train to 94 and then train such a way that you get the "5x" multiplier.

In the unpatched version it lets you get over 100, but when you suffer from stat drain or damage it only restores back to 100.

don't forget you can use going to jail to your advantage also.

Umm... you loose much more than 1 point of intelligence when you go to jail, don't you? Or is there some sort of trick?

Here's a tip for not wasting 5 levels for 1 point during levelling. When you hit 90 for a stat, make sure next level you get it at 94 instead of 95. Then, next time you level get the full 5. Then your at 99 and next level, boom, 100.

Yep, just as Radek said... just no-go for me, I don't have savegames suiting... doesn't matter, I'll level up intelligence to 100 later...

Cheers
