So, topic says it all, how do you do it?

I'm having a breton atronach, I really like the magic-heavy types. But the recovery of magicka is quite hard. I can return to an altar that recovers magicka using the spell, but that doesn't really do it when you're on a long journey, does it? I can't get enough potions as well, the ingredients are quite rare... What do you do about that?

I can think of two options.
Get things to cast spells at you.
Drain all your intelligence with a short duration spell, and when your intelligence comes back you'll have full magicka.

I personally consider the latter to be cheating, but not everyone shares that belief.

People with Atronach birthsign normally have alchemy as a major/minor skill to create mana potion to solve the mana problem. try to explore more of the world to find the ingredient.

Oh yeah draining, harhar, don't know if that's cheating, I'll try anyway, but look for another way, I guess. Getting things to cast at me isn't easy, somehow, there aren't many around that don't just hit me as-hard-as-they-can... Thanks as well [img]smile.gif[/img]

Use any Imperial altar or Almsvi shrine's 'restore attribute' option to fill up.

For saint shrines that don't offer restore, try cure blight: takes a couple of tries sometimes, but eventually tops up the tank...

Oh, forgot to mention: scribs are useful in the early going: their paralyze attack converts to magika, as does the fire attacks of those black bugs: when you are out wandering, they can be pretty useful, if you have the patience for it. The trick is to get close enough to trigger the attack, but then step back quickly, before they bite...
