Right, i am as rich as kreosot, but all my wealth is in items. Daedric this, daedric that. I have less than 5 grands in cash. All the sellers have less than 2000, so selling them a thing that costs 20000 or 50000 is a felony.
Do you have any ideas how i can become richer? I need at the very least another 7000 (i did not started my stronghold yet, and i want to get goldenbrand so it will be extra 7000). EDIT-I know that doing quests brings money, especially Morag Tong quests. Thanks. [ 06-22-2004, 10:16 AM: Message edited by: Black Baron ] |
Sell them lots of items with a small value for a few days, then sell them the valuable item and buy back all the cheap items at the same time. Stuff that you can make potions out of, or potions themselves work well. You'll end up with a bunch of cheap items that you can sell to other people. You'll probably lose some of the money, especially if your barter skill is low, but you'll get more than you would have just selling them the valuable item.

Download the Creeper trader mod !!!

or better yet, CHEAT (just a little) go to the creeper in caldera. go and sell him everything you want to get rid of. WRITE DOWN THE PRICE!!! then sell it to him for 0 dollars.
now, press the ~ key, (located above the tab key) and type into the console: player-> additem "gold_100" X where X is the number that you wrote down. no hassle of taking three hours to make a million dollars. press the ~ key again to exit the console. |
I am against cheating in this game. It is realistic and nice. Thanks all the same, however.
Another question-I have noticed that in order to get to level 24 (i am 19 now), i must spend lots of time in sneaking, bartering, casting spells, and persuading people. My "battle" skills (Marksmanship 75 light armour 92 and long blade 100) are almost impossible to milk for levels. I have low mystysim (24)(sp?) illusion (16) and sneak (55). Oh, and i have block (25). My question is: how many levels will i get? It is obvious that in order to reach level 30 i will have to sweat a lot, or pay a lot of money, which i do not have. Suggestions? Tips? Hints? No spoilers here please. Tx. |
BB, you do know Creeper, right? The talking scamp in Caldera who has 5000 and pays full value? If you sell him a lot of dwarven and orcish items, you can come back and trade him some ebony for his full 5000 plus several 500 to 3000 items which you then re-sell to lesser merchants.
Course, you won't get full price for the stuff you sell to the lessers, but it beats taking 2000 for a 50,000 item and it trains merc fast. And there is Mudcrab, who lives on an island east of vivec, just southish of a dwarven ruin: he has 10,000... As to how many levels you have left: impossible to say. Since only major/minor bumps count towards levels, you'd have to figure out how many potential increases you have left and divide by 10. For training up those magic skills like illusion, go to a spellmaker, and make a custom spell that costs as little as possible to cast for each 'school' of magic. Each successful casting counts towards a skill bump. Replenish your magika at a almsvi shrine [almsvi restoration] or imperial altar [restore attributes]. Oru |
you can, theoretically, continue to level up until such time as you have entirely 100's on your attributes area. once you reach about level 25 though, you really dont need to care about leveling up anymore, so much as caring about training up all your useful skills and getting some good items and spells.
|
How about you go outthere and start looking for the mastertrainers ? Each skill has a mastertrainer, you only need to find them first.

.............. do it the old fashioned way: get it yourself!

My oldest character is at level 122 so getting to level 100 isn't the end it just takes a long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, time he!he!. ;)
