Remember how people wrote dictionaries about every NPC and mini guide and local area map to everywhere?

Is there one for Morrowind?

UTFS. No seriously Avatar, most of the questions you've asked could be solved by a simple Google search, or just a slightly longer look around in the game itself. I tend to hate it when I get spoiled the first time I play a game, prefer to walk around clueless a little longer and find out for myself how things work. But each to their own. The best site I've found, that has all the guild quests and several random ones as well, can be found here. Then there's this site which is really helpful when you cannot find a certain location.

the first link mel provided is the best walkthrough that exists for the game... it has almost all of the quests (but it does have all the ones that give you loot thats worth it) as well as a plethora of information on all sorts of topics.

Thanks Mel!

I just get annoyed when I can't something small, and I wonder around all day in a place I hate :(

I tried google but it didn't have any romance in Morrowind... maybe there isn't any??

Melusine 05-29-2004 07:12 AM

No, there isn't, as far as I can see. Nothing compared to Baldur's Gate in any case. in fact, IMHO, there is no roleplaying in this game at all. I don't know why it's called a roleplaying game, really. I mean, you can customise your character, but he/she doesn't even have a voice, let alone more than 3 dialogue options at the most. I actually find myself doing the voice parts myself :D (when someone goes "I find you really interesting right now - please share your thoughts" I find myself responding to them )

Anyway, for all the missing RP aspects I'm still totally hooked on this game, so no matter.

I think its because the game is so non-linear.

Even through you have no choice in responce, the sheeer number of sub-quests makes u wonder, why save the world???

There's some romance mods out there if you really want romance. romances in morrowind is very very weak if you know what I mean.

Heh, I'm not usually saying nice things either. ;) I'm roleplaying a sarcastic bitch. ;)

The most annoying one is "Mournhold, city of magic, city of light" City of people who endlessly repeat themselves more like. I've killed for less...... though only in games you understand ;) .
