Im running alot of mods right now and was wondering if theres a way to speed up everything from loading/saving time and accual framerate because its startin to act like Far cry online (if ya catch my drift)
Also is there a good house mod with maniquins and display room along with a good location close to transportation. Ive checked morrowind summit and some peoples own personal mod sites and came up with zelda's residence which isnt working properly (the basement part) and i want a good cool looking armour mod any type (medium perfered I wanna train it) any accual mod prefrences any of you have would be greatly appreciated and thanx ahead of time for your information (plz if you going to tell me anything to do with morrowing summit give specifics that database if friggin huge) :D |
Loading and saving you're stuck with, uninstalling mods is the only way to speed that up. Other than the usual defrag if you haven't done that in a few months.
The Abu Manor would probably fit your bill, it's in Ald-Ruhn so handy for the mages guild and silt strider. http://unforgottenrealms.net/downloa...n=file&id=1132 Personally I prefer Abu's retreat which is much more homely and has a nice display room in there. And it's only a two minute levitate from Seyda Neen and the silt strider. http://unforgottenrealms.net/downloa...n=file&id=1191 If you're a wizard, I've just stumbled across this extemely well done Telvanni tower in Tel Branora. It has direct access to all major guilds and a few other places and has a nice little quest with it as well. And some mannequins which you'll find downstairs in a box to place as you will. The site is designed by a monkey so I can't give you a URL, just go to http://www.rpgplanet.com/morrowind/modcontrols/mods.asp and click the big search button, then in the top right field, but "serene" next to title and press go. It should be the only result. As for your frame rate, the best boost will come from turning off real time shadows by sliding the slider fully to the left. That'll really help. The frame rate optimiser here http://morrowind.nm.ru/Morrowind%20FPS%20Optimizer/ might also help, although that'll increase frame rate at the expense of viewing distance so it might not be your cup of tea. Hope some of that helps. |
