I have two people wanting this book - I've already bought the copy at Jobasha's Rare Books to give to Ranis, but now I need another copy. Anyone know where I can find it (aside from maybe pickpocketing her to get it back - not really an option for me at this stage ;) )?

Did you try the bookstore accross the street from the Balmora Mages Guild?

I make it a point to only sell books to a single merchant, so I know where they are when I need them. I've had several of these, I'm pretty certain one is in the Nechwhatever ruins itself...

If you've alredy bought the book from jabasha there is another bookstore in vivic that sells it(i think)(Where gentleman jim stacy/thieves guild master thief Is) try there and post if ya found it)only if you cant raid the shrine to find the book like oru said!

IIRC, there was one in the upper level of Sulipund, in one of the bookcases.

Nchuleft Ruins contains one sure copy.

I'm pretty weak right now, level 3 lol, so raiding the shrine isn't on the cards at the moment... I did have a vague memory of there being a copy in that shrine from my last game actually. Yes, i believe it is. You have to go there at a certain point for one of the mages guild quests. It's located far north east of Moonmoth fortress.

It's not that far. Sulipund is supposedly a Telvanni base, but no one in there is hostile. There should be three floors, with the book on the top floor (I believe).
If you know where Marandus is (a propylon chamber), it should be easy to find: Ta da! [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Oh I think it's that one you have to go to for Ranis's quest? I was leaving that for a while because I'm weak and crap (I'm making a jack (jill ;) ) of all trades and she's hopeless at the moment :D ).
