How do I do it safely?

I've installed a mod to give me a base on Balmora (Balmora Keep mod) but don't like it.

On the other hand can you suggest a mod for Balmora? I don't want anything that unbalances the game, just one that has a bed and ample storage would be fine.

Just start your game ( double click on your morrowind icon ). go to data file and uncheck the name of the mod. exit and enter the game. Press yes to anything that came out. remember to save your game after that.

I prefer using ralen hlaalu house. that place is big.

I like 'a good place to stay': an underground house between the 'uptown' alchemist shop and the temple.

It is somewhat 'imbalanced' in as much as it has an awesome, well stocked alchemy workshop.

Honestly, though: you can just take over the basement of the maged guild. Plenty of tables and benches for stuff, easy access to teleport services...
