a long time ago, in a country far, far away(in europe), i started playing diablo 1. i really liked it. later, i played diablo 2. i liked that even more. i heard about bg a bit later and thought it is bullcrap. when i got bg i played it very much and liked it too [img]smile.gif[/img] bg 2 was even better [img]smile.gif[/img] ) ! my question is for all the people who have played both diablo 2 and BG 2, which one did you like more??

I'd have to say that both the BG series, 1 & 2 were much much better than the Diablo series. Just too much hack/slash and not enough story to keep me interested.

I have played Diablo I and Diablo II with the add on Lord of Destruction.

I have played BG1, then added Tales of the Sword Coast, and taken my character into BGII SoA. Am still waiting for Throne of Bhaal - waiting for it to come out on the Mac.

The BG series is by far the better game, because of all the quests and general great role playing. I played Diablo before I got into BG and now prefer BG.

I still play Diablo though when I just want a hack and slash game, sometimes that is all your brain wants to do.

Both are extremely ADDICTIVE though, good job my other half is a Sky Sports fanatic.

i think that though diablo is not as good as baldurs gate, it is still very good. there are many people who think of diablo, the hack n slash ultimate, is just some money trick to make the creators of the game rich. well, maybe so, but i don`t think i was decieved or tricked into playing this game to the end at the first, second, third or fourth time. diablo is a damn good game, but BG is damn better [img]smile.gif[/img]

I haven't played Diablo 2, but the problem I had with 1 was that there wasn't a pause where you could give orders and you couldn't have a party.

Played both D2 and BG2. Ohh this is easy. BG2 is much better.

Comparing D2 and BG2 is like comparing KFC with a three-course meal. ;)
