The titles says it all. Can you be you know a bad guy. Be a smuggler or somehting like that? If so how?

Well... you could steal a lot of stuff and look menacing? ;) You can't AFAIK actually be a smuggler with contacts and drop-off points and such. However you can be bad - you can become a vampire and join one of the vampire groups. You can join the morag tong and be a hitman. But you can't like, join a bandit group in a bandit cave because they just attack you on sight.

Hey I'm a thief too! Yea you can be bad in this game but I always prefer being the good guy sometimes.


Once you get to Balmora, you cna find LOTS of stuff to steal (not sure on other cities tho), I also recommend joining the Thief guild there.

The world of Morrowind is HUGE! so you have lots of opportunities (sp?) to practice your 'five finger discount' abilities.

Well, you could always go on a killing spree and see how far you'd get. But if you did that, every guard in the game will attack you on sight, and normal people will be afraid of you and won't speak with you anymore, so finishing the mainquest will become quite difficult, if not impossible.

I've been a mass murderer before. kill people, strip them naked and put their belongings beside their body. whole town becomes a ghost town though sometimes the guards will respawn.

Well, you can't be a smuggler. However, I am making a mod where you can join outlaws/barbarians and raid small towns such as Hla Oad, Pelagiad, etc. Its gonna be awhile though.
