is there any way to open a level 100 locked and trapped chest or do i just have to be a certain level ? ive made an amulet enchanted with 100 magnification of the open spell but it only works on doors really any help ?

is the amulet a 1-100% chance or a 100% chance? as if its just 100% it should be working, but if its somenumber-100 then it means it could be any number between aswell...meaning more then likely its not gonna be powerful enough. there are some scrolls that can open that level of locks, or if your a thief, you need to be about 80-90 lockpick level with a decent lock pick to open it....or is it 60 -70? i dunno, its something like that...

its a 0 - 100 do i need to make a 100 to 100 then ?

a 0-100 item will generate a random value between 0 and 100 each time it is used... the chance of opening a 100 pts lock with this item is close to zero.

You'll need a 100-100 magnitude item... this uses a lot of enchantment points, so unless you 'cheat' your intelligence and/or luck to very high values, you won't be able to enchant it yourself... you'll have to buy it.

Once you're around level 15-20 you'll find locksplitter scrolls (unlock 100) everywhere... I suggest you leave those locked chests for now... they will probably contain items that are too powerfull for your current level and enemies, making the game too easy. Just come back to them later...
